Job Overview

Match Group, a leading company in the dating industry, is looking for a skilled Product Designer to join their team and contribute to the design of cross-functional projects. The position allows for telecommuting from anywhere within the United States. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $145,000 per year, commensurate with the candidate's experience, skills, and market factors.

Responsibilities

As a Product Designer, you will own the design aspect of a cross-functional pod, working closely with Engineering and Product team members. Creating presentations, managing stakeholder feedback, and iterating on design features to ensure deliverability are key tasks. You'll also review junior designers' work, provide vital improvements, and lead critique sessions to elevate the team's design quality. Additionally, partaking in user experience research, exploring new design tools and techniques, and giving feedback to engineers are also part of the role. Mentoring junior designers by providing constructive feedback is imperative for this position.

Communication & Collaboration

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for our Product Designer. You will be expected to communicate effectively through project management tools like JIRA and Monday.com, and support the team in developing high-fidelity prototypes. Collaborating with other designers, testing user concepts, and ensuring the in-app design consistency using advanced prototyping tools will also be your responsibility.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with at least 4 years of experience in digital product design or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience. Essential skills required include design expertise across multiple consumer platforms, user research, typography, layout, interaction design, and proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Principle. Experience in problem-solving design issues from conception to UI is also required.
