The People team ensures a positive work environment for employees ('Jobberinos'), from recruitment to ongoing career development. Within this team, the Talent Development team ensures employees have the resources and support necessary for success.

The Role of the Talent Development Partner

The Talent Development Partner, under the Senior Manager, will manage the full lifecycle of learning development and partner with various teams to align learning opportunities with strategic business objectives. Responsibilities include identifying training needs, designing engaging learning resources, building impactful learning programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of talent development initiatives.

Critical Functions and Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to determine development needs and strategies.
  • Creating and implementing inclusive and diverse learning materials and programs.
  • Developing onboarding processes for functional teams and facilitating workshops.
  • Assessing and enhancing the efficacy of learning initiatives continuously.
  • Managing Learning Management System (LMS) administration and learning tools.
  • Upholding Jobber's values and mission in supporting small businesses.

Qualifications for Success

Candidates should have a proven background in Learning and Development with an understanding of adult learning theories. They should possess a partnership mindset, excellent communication skills, and initiative. Experience with groups like Engineering and Product Design is a bonus. Adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, and LMS familiarity are crucial.

Note: The role may involve up to 20% North American travel to support learning programs.
