Open Position: Backend Developer

CoinRoutes is seeking backend developers who have a passion for creating and improving the infrastructure of their platform. The role involves the implementation of Websocket / FIX feeds into their market data platform, developing data aggregation systems for reporting, integrating APIs from new exchanges or liquidity providers for order processing, and enhancing the logic behind their trading algorithms.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Python and/or RUST programming languages.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture, including the use of message queues and busses.
• Working knowledge of REST, RPC, and Websocket API integrations.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and redis.
• Comfortable operating within Linux-based environments.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with compiled languages like RUST, C, and C++ is valued.
• Understanding of data warehousing, including ETL processes and data aggregation.
• Knowledge of financial markets, specifically through FIX protocol and market data comprehension.
• Experience with DevOps practices and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency with Django web framework.
