Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to collaborate with our Engineering Manager and frontend developers to prioritize tasks and contribute to the application's roadmap. They will recommend improvements to performance, assist with the architecture of the application, identify potential performance issues, and suggest solutions. Additionally, the role entails the development of new web services using Ruby on Rails.

Necessary Qualifications

Applicants must possess extensive Ruby on Rails experience, be familiar with JavaScript, Postgres or MySQL, and have a track record of working with unit testing tools like rspec or Jest, as well as with background workers such as Sidekiq. While not mandatory, knowledge of Vue.js, React, Solr, service workers architecture, and advanced SQL is advantageous.

Location Requirements

This remote position is open to candidates based in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Portugal, Romania, or Poland.

Employment Benefits
