Overview of Torc Robotics' Team Role

Torc Robotics is seeking individuals to support the creation of products that efficiently meet customer demands. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include developing a shared product vision and roadmap in collaboration with various experts and stakeholders. The individual will act as a connector between engineering teams and stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure alignment with customer feedback, market trends, and business goals. The role requires being the key communicator between customers and the company, managing research requests, prioritizing features, and balancing delivery expectations.

The position involves improving cross-functional processes, keeping planning artifacts updated, understanding technical constraints, defining product metrics, and supporting feature demonstrations. Additionally, responsibilities encompass assessing the competitive landscape, managing sub-product business cases, and collaborating with Finance and Marketing to devise strategies and communication plans. A significant aspect of the role is to encourage a customer-centric work culture across the company and identify future growth opportunities for the product.

Qualifications for Success

Candidates need competencies typically acquired through a degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field and extensive experience in full lifecycle product development. Experience in working with OEMs or Tier 1 on significant projects, knowledge of legacy and modern vehicle architectures, as well as software and middleware, is required. Familiarity with AUTOSTAR or related products is favorable.

Additional Skills and Experience

Preferred qualifications include automotive OEM or Tier 1 design & release experience, experience with QNX based products, vehicle manufacturing, knowledge of network communications and maintenance strategies for complex hardware systems.
