The responsibilities of this role extend across various operational spectrums - from planning, organizing, and directing activities of the Vendor Funds Department to maintaining appropriate control environments for Vendor Funds accounting. As a leader, engaging with internal and external auditors to maintain control, offering strategic input to company leaders, handling internal operational relationships, and leading financial data analysis for vendor payments falls within the scope of duties. Notably, this role is responsible for overseeing software administration related to rebates and claimbacks, enhancing operational processes, and supervising a team of professionals.
Prospective candidates are expected to hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or possess equivalent work experience), with at least ten years of relevant experience. The role demands a strong understanding of rebate accounting, experience with associated software, and leadership capabilities. Analytical skills, organizational acumen, and excellent communication are key for this position.
