Responsibilities

  • Setting and actualizing the editorial agenda.

  • Editing content, including episodes, newsletter, social media copy, and digital content.
  • Managing staff and coordinating multi-platform projects.
  • Upholding standards in journalism, craft, tone, and substance for each episode; handling at least 3 direct reports.

Education & Work Location

Applicants are required to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. The role is remote, but NPR approves the location, and the base office is in Washington, DC.

Required Skills
