Job Overview

Natera is looking for a LabInformatics Specialist to join their software engineering team to support various business units by leveraging LabVantage LIMS and other software products.

Key Responsibilities

Lab Informatics Specialists are responsible for creating functional and non-functional requirements, providing subject matter expertise, producing informative deliverables, developing deep technical software product knowledge, creating user training materials, evaluating informatics solutions to meet business needs, and prioritizing user experience in product design.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have a BS or higher in a related major or equivalent industry experience, 5+ years in software product management, experience with software requirements and agile software teams, and knowledge of laboratory workflow software.

Skills and Abilities

The role requires knowledge in software product requirements, technical design, project management, QA, and issue tracking systems like JIRA. Domain knowledge in LIMS, genetic/bioinformatics, laboratory processes, and compliance are essential. Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and project breakdown skills are critical.
