The role of Associate Data Scientist, with considerations for Data Analyst or Data Scientist titles based on experience, is open within PointClickCare's Data Science department. This position involves conducting analysis and reporting, primarily serving the internal Product department. PointClickCare's products concentrate on drawing insights from data gathered from hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, catering to various customers such as hospitals, health systems, ACOs, and other data exchange entities. An integral part of this role includes exploring new product opportunities and assessing the health and usage behavior of current offerings using both real-time and historical healthcare and user data.
Major responsibilities encompass:
The Associate Data Scientist will work collaboratively with other Data Science team members and numerous organizational teams, including Product, Customer Success, Clinical Solutions, Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services.
Qualifications for this role require a Bachelor's degree in data science, analytics, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree. Candidates should have 2-4 years of analytics-related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in relevant roles. Industry experience in healthcare is advantageous.
Technical proficiencies include a solid grasp of data manipulation tools like Python, data visualization tools such as Tableau, and experience with SQL for data extraction. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, deadline management, multitasking prowess, and exceptional analytical skills are also essential.
The base salary for this position ranges from $91,000 to $98,000 in the United States, supplemented by bonuses and benefits. This position is non-overtime eligible. Salary ranges are job and level dependent, and target new hire salaries across all US locations. Individual compensation is determined by skills, experience, including both professional and lived experiences, and/or work location.
