Eight Sleep is currently seeking an experienced Data Scientist adept at working with sales and marketing data to develop complex predictive demand models. The role involves creating and maintaining dashboards for tracking key marketing metrics, building extensive analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or similar scripting and statistical tools.
Prospective candidates require a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, coupled with over three years of data science experience in a marketing or growth-oriented role. Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau is crucial, as is proficiency in languages such as Python or R. Candidates should also have experience in building ETL data pipelines using dbt or similar DAG tools, alongside excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data to inform decisions.
