Job Overview

LeadIQ is on the lookout for a creative and strategic Content Marketing Manager to join its expanding team. This role requires a professional who will contribute significantly to the execution of the company's content marketing initiatives, with the primary goal of driving engagement across various platforms and supporting demand generation activities. Reporting directly to the Director of Demand Generation, the Content Marketing Manager will collaborate with sales, business development, and product marketing teams. This collaboration ensures that all content aligns with key business goals and strikes a chord with the target audience.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy

The Content Marketing Manager will be tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy. This strategy should foster LeadIQ’s demand generation objectives while enhancing brand visibility. Cooperation with sales and business development, as well as the product marketing team, is necessary to align content with product updates, evolving market dynamics, and sales targets.

Content Creation

Creating high-quality content across a spectrum of formats will be essential. These include blog posts, webinars, newsletters, and social media content. Every week, the manager is expected to oversee the creation of two blog posts, bolstered by contributions from contract writers, following the full activation of the strategy. Writing and editing content that is both informative and engaging will be crucial in ensuring it hooks the intended audience.

Webinars

The planning and execution of webinars fall under the responsibilities of this role. This includes sourcing and coordinating guest speakers and managing all backend execution aspects. By employing strategic promotion and outreach efforts, the manager will aim to meet the registration targets for each session. Subsequent to webinars, providing summaries and creating supplemental content like blog posts and social media snippets is expected. Possessing video editing skills would be advantageous for developing captivating webinar clips.



Social Media Management

Spurring growth on social media platforms by generating, evaluating, and scheduling B2B sales community-targeted posts is another prominent responsibility. The manager will coordinate with contractors to ensure the timely delivery of critical updates, including webinar clips. Monitoring and analyzing social media metrics are vital to evaluating success and guiding necessary strategy refinements.

Performance Measurement

Beyond just social media, the effectiveness of all content marketing efforts, including pipeline generation and webinar engagement, will be reported on. The usage of tools such as Google Analytics and specific social media metrics will assist in tracking content performance and optimizing strategies accordingly.

Collaboration

A critical aspect of the role is partnership with the product marketing team to make sure content bolsters product launches, updates, and communications. Working closely with sales and business development teams to produce content that aligns with sales goals and facilitates moving prospects through the pipeline is also key.

Desired Skills and Experience

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a startup environment, with strong proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as Pardot, HubSpot, and Marketo, as well as modern CMS platforms like WordPress and Webflow. Strong writing and editing skills are necessary for translating complex ideas into clear, compelling content. Experience in managing multiple priorities and tasks is vital. Familiarity with the B2B sales community, video editing skills, understanding of SEO best practices, and experience in banner design are added advantages.
