Career Opportunities: Principal Java Developer

Currently, Hyland is seeking a qualified Principal Java Developer to join our team and work on our cloud-based platform, Alfresco. The role involves developing complex code based on functional specifications, maintaining and improving the codebase, and contributing to software architecture. The Principal Java Developer will also participate in peer code review, lead implementation of delivery pipelines, and establish development standards.

Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates will have advanced English proficiency and at least seven years of programming experience in Java. Experience with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, and tools such as Elastic Search, along with expertise in Clean Coding, TDD, Object-Oriented Design, SOLID principles, and cloud and microservice architecture is essential. Familiarity with GitHub Actions, test automation, and software delivery pipelines is beneficial, as is a strong background in collaborating with international teams. Key soft skills include critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.
