Work closely with VP, Marketing to ensure that everything that has content of any kind has content that mirrors the expected use of the company’s brand, and that the company’s brand is well-positioned. Use data, research and strong understanding of consumer psychology to shape a user narrative and create content experiences tailored to the company’s target audience. Manage company’s blog. Manage the company’s editorial calendar to ensure timely publication, assign blog posts to contract writers, identify gaps in content, and recommend new topics. Cultivate and develop the company’s point of view on industry trends and feature that point of view on our blog and through other marketing channels. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles as needed. Establish style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content. Support our SEO efforts. Build content around company’s strategic keywords. Where product or user-generated content is insufficient, create additional content. Use data to measure success and monitor web traffic and engagement with content. Manage social media and social media strategy. Tailor content to different digital and social media platforms. Develop clear and engaging content that is consistent with the company’s brand image and addresses both business goals and consumer needs.
REQS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Design Management, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field. Must have 5 years of experience as a Brand Content Strategist, Content Manager, Marketing Strategist, Digital Marketing Strategist, Marketing Consultant, or similar.
