The applicant is required to have professional experience with Wordpress plugin development, architecture, and standards. An advanced proficiency with PHP and MySQL, including modern PHP practices (OOP, autoloading, namespacing, traits, interfaces, etc). Additionally, strong familiarity with JavaScript is required, as is the ability to use and extend build tools like gulp and webpack. Competency with git and GitHub version control is necessary, with the ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly and with exceptional troubleshooting skills. Previous experience with freelance or remote work is also needed.
