They’re looking for an exceptional professional software engineer with at least 8 years of software engineering experience. Ideal candidates should be comfortable in multiple languages, particularly backend coding using Ruby or Node.js, and frontend engineering React. Desired prowess includes effective software architecture, test-driven development methods, and solid project management methodology.
The role is available for 30-40 hours per week, with overlap with US Eastern and Pacific time zone business hours. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
Applicants must have substantial software engineering and senior engineering experience. Strong written and spoken English, proficiency in multiple programming languages including Ruby or Node.js, and React are essential. Experience in designing complex data structures, implementing DevOps pipelines, understanding of infosec principles, ability to communicate complex concepts are important. Practical expertise in testing and reliability engineering is also needed.
Bonus skills include experience in the Ed Tech Field and familiarity with Project Management tools.
