CrossFit is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations and month-end tasks. This role includes account reconciliations, journal entries, daily and weekly cash reporting, interacting with third-party tax providers, and interacting with international third-party accounting providers primarily for VAT tax reporting. Ad-hoc research and analysis tasks will also come under this role.
The Accounting Manager will be reporting to the Vice President of Accounting and Controller. The candidate will coordinate closely with other organizational members through analysis and reconciliation of accounts, along with the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
The ideal candidate must have leadership capabilities, strong knowledge of technical accounting, excellent attention to detail, multitasking skills, and the ability to manage priorities. Experience with NetSuite, intermediate Excel skills, understanding of US GAAP, accounting concepts, and financial statements, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are preferred. The candidate should also be ethical, adaptable, and able to work effectively both within a team environment and independently.
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 7-10 years of accounting experience, however, having a CPA or Masters is preferred.
