As a Technical Accounting Manager at Quartzy, you will be responsible for several core functions. This includes playing a supportive role in the financial reporting process, reconciliations, and documentation while collaborating with the Accounting Operations Manager and Controller. You will interact with various departments to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to accrual methodologies and activities. A strong understanding of internal control concepts is essential to contribute to the creation and enforcement of effective US-GAAP compliant processes and procedures. The role also involves managing accounting projects and ensuring system synchronization with the general ledger ERP NetSuite.
Quartzy is seeking a candidate with an active CPA license and a preferred bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. Proficiency in US GAAP and Microsoft Excel is mandatory, with at least 8 years of work experience, ideally in startup or high-growth environments. Knowledge of accounting procedures, internal controls best practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment are also key. The candidate should be a self-starter, capable of organizing and prioritizing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
