The role further extends to fostering joint marketing campaigns, communicating proactively with partners, crafting and updating newsletters, and promoting the usage of the Fastly Partner Portal to drive deal registrations. Additionally, partner recruitment and nurturing fall within the scope of this role.
Candidates are expected to have substantial experience in partner/field marketing in regional contexts, primarily within cloud services or SaaS/PaaS domains. A deep understanding of cultural nuances across SE Asia is crucial, along with a track record in articulating complex technological solutions into compelling messages. Proficiency in reporting and communication tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, and Looker is expected, along with excellent project management capabilities. The ability to work both independently and as part of a global virtual team is essential. Proficiency in a second language of the region, like Mandarin, Thai, or Malay, is highly beneficial.
The role is remote, initially based out of Singapore, with potential for a hybrid work model as Fastly's regional presence grows. Direct reporting to the Director of Global Field Marketing located in the UK can be expected. Some international travel, including to the US, might be necessary.
