Job Responsibilities

  • Providing support and advice on the engineering of materials such as aluminium, steels, and titanium including their grades and various treatments.
  • Working on applications related to power systems, landing gear, and structural components.
  • Developing manufacturing engineering processes and techniques related to joining and assembly.
  • Conducting galvanic and anti-corrosion assessments and methodologies.
  • Analyzing repairs, non-conformance, and providing feedback that aligns with design goals while taking into account manufacturing constraints.
  • Supporting materials and process control as well as developing approved materials and process lists.
  • Planning and executing test campaigns to support manufacturing processes.
  • Establishing internal standards and governing documents to ensure proper engineering practices are applied according to the projects.

Required Skills

Candidates will need a degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Materials, or Manufacturing Engineering, though other relevant areas of study will also be considered. A strong command of the technical aspects related to aerospace materials is essential. Additional skills and experiences that are desirable include:

  • Previous experience in aerospace or high-performance automotive sectors.
  • Familiarity with shop floor operations, which can enhance practical knowledge and application of theoretical concepts.
  • High competence in key technical areas related to metal materials and their manufacturing processes.
