• Maintain the AI tooling stack, ensuring its efficiency scales with the growth of 2,500+ employees across multiple countries including Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, the UK, and Europe.

• Stay updated on emerging AI tools and technologies, providing valuable insights to strengthen the automation processes.

• Refine AI training protocols for the wider organization, including the engineering teams, to ensure smooth integration of AI initiatives into M-KOPA’s offerings.

Skills Required

To qualify for this role, you should possess:

• Hands-on experience in building automations through scripting and workflow tools, as well as AI-assisted development.

• Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, MCP, Google ADK, or similar tools is necessary.

• A solid background in enterprise tooling, particularly in rapid prototyping and identity automation tools like Entra.

• Previous experience in people leadership, showcasing your ability to lead and mentor engineers effectively.

• A product-focused mindset, coupled with keen abilities in prioritizing and managing tasks from various teams.

Technical Environment

The ideal candidate will work with various AI and automation frameworks:

• AI & Agentic Frameworks: Claude, Anthropic tooling, LangChain, and more.
• Automation & Prototyping: Scripting tools, workflow automation, and rapid prototyping platforms like Vercel or Railway.
• Enterprise Tooling: Tools related to identity automation and integration with platforms like Notion and HiBob.
