Applied Imagination is looking for a BA/QA professional to join their fully remote team, focusing on the analysis and quality assurance in various innovative projects. Responsibilities

In this role, the BA/QA personnel are tasked with a variety of responsibilities that include:

Gaining a comprehensive understanding of projects and the associated business processes.
Gathering requirements by communicating effectively with stakeholders and clients, then defining these into specifications.
Identifying any requirement gaps and working collaboratively with development leads to address these gaps.
Assisting in the planning and breakdown of projects into manageable sprints.
Contributing to the Quality Assurance (QA) processes by performing both manual and regression testing, and potentially engaging in automated testing down the line.
Creating and executing QA test plans to ensure product quality.
Engaging closely with the client and helping the development teams implement feedback into the project.

This position requires a balance between technical understanding and client-facing communication skills, making it essential to convey project details clearly to the development team and ensure all parties are aligned across the workflow.

Required Skills and Experience

To qualify for this position, candidates must fulfill several requirements which include:

BA experience: At least 3 years in a relevant capacity, involving requirement gathering from stakeholders and clients.
QA experience: A minimum of 3 years in a Manual Software QA role, coupled with 3 years in QA management or support.
Project management skills: Competence with project management and bug tracking software.
Technical understanding: Familiarity with the development of websites, web applications, and mobile apps is necessary, along with the ability to write outlines, flowcharts, and functional wireframes.
A Bachelor’s degree in fields related to Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or Project Management is also a preferred qualification.

Nice to Haves

While not essential, the following experiences would be beneficial:

Some knowledge of coding.
Experience with Automated QA testing, showcasing versatility in QA methodologies.
