User Acceptance Testing: Conduct secondary UAT of the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system before it goes into the production environment.
Integrated Oversight Plan Development: Contribute to the development of the Integrated Oversight Plan. This ensures an internal cross-functional oversight strategy to enhance data quality.
Continuous Development: Embrace continuing education in drug development and best practices in data management while suggesting improvements to processes.
It’s important to note that this position will require a willingness to travel as needed, ensuring flexibility in work arrangements.
Candidates interested in this role must possess the following qualifications and skill sets:
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Clinical Data Management experience in a pharmaceutical or Contract Research Organization (CRO) setting is required, with 7+ years preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the drug development process, regulatory requirements, and data management best practices is critical. Familiarity with Risk Based Quality Management (RBQM) principles is a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with EDC systems—preferably Medrio or Medidata RAVE—along with other computerized systems like IRT is necessary. Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI and analytical systems is preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with project management capabilities, are a must.
Certifications: Having CCDM certification is preferred. Proficiency in SAS, database programming, and an understanding of the CDASH and CDISC standards will be beneficial for candidates.
