The position involves several key responsibilities within the Quality Assurance and Release Engineering team:
Create testing documentation: Prepare essential testing documentation, which includes test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports, to assess the quality and associated risk of the software.

Triaging: Assist in triaging automation results and ensuring the software meets the expected quality standards.

Team collaboration: Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other QA testers in an Agile team environment to ensure customer success with every release.
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet specific education and skill requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Applications, or a similar field.
Experience coding: Proficiency in programming, particularly in Java and/or mobile languages, as a prerequisite for understanding software quality assurance.
Familiarity with Software QA methodologies, including both black box and automated testing approaches, particularly in companies that operate with short-release cycles.
A degree or relevant experience in software development and/or software test automation is strongly recommended.
Candidates should possess a curiosity and adaptability to learn new technologies quickly, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
While not mandatory, the following competencies are considered advantageous:
Experience using Cypress.
Understanding of SQL.
Knowledge of programming in Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.
Familiarity with Atlassian products including Jira, Greenhopper, and Clover.
Mobile Testing and Automation knowledge, specifically with tools like Appium, XCUI, Espresso, and KIF.
Understanding of Mobile Apps Development for both Android and iOS.
Veeva Systems offers a comprehensive benefits package and salary range that varies depending on experience and location:
Base salary: $65,000 - $140,000. This range complies with local regulations and represents a potential salary, but actual pay may differ based on individual qualifications and experience.
Other compensation options may include variable and/or stock bonuses, enabling employees to share in the company's success.
