NECSWS is recruiting a Business Consultant (Benefits) to become part of their respected Revenues and Benefits, and Central Government Consultancy (RBCG) Team. Delivering consultancy and training on NEC products and service implementations in specified areas of expertise.

Contributing to the development of new consultancy offerings for newly developed software or services.

Feeding back any customer issues to the consultancy group and other internal stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Participating in product development processes by attending user groups and assisting in the creation of user guides.
Updating knowledge of relevant legislation and NEC products/services to maintain high service levels.
Supporting management decisions by being flexible with work assignments across related areas (such as product management, business analysis, and testing).
It’s crucial to note that this role is home-based but will require frequent travel around the UK, with average overnight stays of around 5 nights per month.
Essential skills needed for this role include:
Expertise in Benefits, specifically in CTR/CTS and Housing Benefits.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in demanding situations.
Capacity to work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects concurrently.
A valid UK Driving license and willingness to travel away from home as required.
Additionally, desirable skills would include:
Extensive knowledge of NEC products or services.
Experience in Data Integration or Interfaces with NEC products.
Background in working with customers or external agencies.
Experience in delivering training or seminars.
Previous involvement in a Revenues and Benefits migration project.
