Industry Thought Leadership: Represent Capital One in external conversations regarding security and technology, helping to shape industry best practices while positioning the company's solutions as market leaders.
Go-to-Market & Sales Acceleration: Connect the dots between technical security measures and business outcomes. Make sure security messaging aligns with sales strategies, thereby promoting product adoption.
Cross-functional Influence & Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teams in engineering, legal, risk, cyber, and compliance to ensure that all security responses reflect the latest technical advancements and regulatory compliance.
RFI/RFP Response: Analyze and address cybersecurity sections of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs), providing accurate details about the organization's security controls and policies.
Security Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base that covers the current security posture, including policies, certifications such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and compliance documentation.
Continuous Improvement: Identify trends in inquiries to enhance documentation and proactive communication strategies with customers.
Third-Party Risk & Due Diligence: Assist in third-party risk management processes, simplifying the evaluation of security postures for customers.
Product Roadmap Contribution: Provide valuable insights on emerging cybersecurity trends and customer expectations to influence the product roadmap effectively.
Security Sales Playbook Development: Prepare security sales playbooks designed to empower sales teams with messaging, handling objections, and applicable case studies.
Impactful Role: This position allows the Senior Manager to directly affect customer trust strategies and influence business growth and sales success.

For remote candidates, the yearly salary falls between $204,900 - $233,800, which reflects the expectations for this senior manager position.
