Key Responsibilities

Carrier & Operator Engagement

Your primary responsibility is to establish and maintain strategic partnerships with MNOs. You will lead the following tasks:

  • Build and manage relationships with Tier-1 and Tier-2 MNOs across multiple regions.
  • Act as the main liaison between CloudCom and operator teams to enable successful onboarding and network capabilities.

Network API Commercialization

You will be expected to drive the adoption of a range of Network APIs which include:

  • Number Verification
  • SIM Swap Detection
  • KYC & Identity APIs
  • Device Status & Line Status
  • Silent Authentication

In this capacity, you will also define various commercial models such as revenue sharing, per-transaction fees, or success-based pricing strategies.

Standards & Ecosystem Alignment

Your role will require regular interaction with standards organizations:

  • Collaborate closely with GSMA Open Gateway and CAMARA standards to ensure operator implementations align with API specifications.
  • Represent CloudCom in industry forums, operator workshops, and partner meetings, showcasing the organization's commitment to industry best practices.

Internal Collaboration

You will coordinate efforts across internal departments to streamline processes:

  • Work with Product, Engineering, Security, and Legal teams to translate operator network capabilities into developer-ready APIs.
  • Support roadmap planning based on both operator readiness and market demand.

Operational & Regulatory Support

Providing support to operators entails a few critical tasks:

  • Assist with security and compliance alignment.
  • Ensure readiness concerning regulatory considerations, including privacy and consent issues.
  • Support pilot projects, proofs of concept, and commercial launches to ensure smooth market entry for new products.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the following qualifications are necessary:

  • Strong experience in carrier relations, telecom partnerships, or wholesale telecom.
  • Solid understanding of Mobile Network Operator environments.
  • Hands-on exposure to Network APIs, CPaaS, or telco digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with GSMA Open Gateway and CAMARA APIs, or a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience working with global operators and cross-regional teams is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional desirable qualifications include:

  • Experience with Identity & Authentication APIs and telco security standards (OAuth2, OIDC, CIBA).
  • Knowledge of concepts such as Network Exposure (NEF, network slicing, identity APIs).
  • Background in CPaaS, fintech, or digital identity solutions.
  • Previous involvement in operator API monetization initiatives is highly valued.
