Responsibilities

The Clinical Lead will oversee various responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Overseeing clinical operations of home healthcare services while ensuring high standards of care.
  • Providing leadership and support to healthcare teams, including Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
  • Developing and enforcing clinical policies and procedures in compliance with regulations.
  • Conducting audits and quality assurance checks to improve overall care standards.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and review individualized care plans for clients.
  • Training, mentoring, and facilitating professional development for clinical staff.
  • Acting as a contact point for clinical issues, offering expert advice and support.
  • Maintaining effective communication and cooperation with clients, families, and external healthcare providers.
  • Monitoring clinical performance metrics and reporting outcomes.
  • Participating in recruiting clinical staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for the Clinical Lead position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Be a Registered Nurse (adult's or children's) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Have extensive experience in a clinical leadership role, preferably in home healthcare or a similar setting.
  • Hold strong knowledge of clinical practices, guidelines, and relevant regulations.
  • Exhibit excellent leadership and management abilities.
  • Be proficient in utilizing healthcare management software and interaction with electronic health records (EHR).
