Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with Professional Services and Sales opportunities within Network Services.

  • Maintaining awareness of customer incidents and providing necessary reporting on nominated accounts.

  • Participating in Proof of Concept (PoC) scenarios, type approval activities, and pre/post-change lab testing in both customer-facing and Telent lab environments.

  • Assisting and/or leading the pre-staging of equipment intended for installation at customer sites.

  • Creating essential documentation including TA, PoC, RFC, WI, and Statement of Works (SoW).

  • Supporting project reviews, project roadmaps, monthly service reviews, and weekly incident reports.

  • Completing overtime and expense reports accurately and on time.

  • Adhering strictly to GDPR guidelines regarding sensitive data management and reporting security incidents as outlined by company policies.

Required Skills

To succeed as a Cloud Engineer at Telent, candidates are expected to possess a certain skill set. Key requirements include:

  • An MCSA certification in Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or higher.

  • Basic knowledge of Azure cloud technologies and exposure to Linux systems.

  • Familiarity with Networking concepts.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or above, particularly in clustering and availability groups.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 and above.
