Key Responsibilities

Deal Structuring

In this role, you will take the lead in crafting and developing intricate, multi-party energy contracts, such as shared facility agreements, land agreements, and other commercial contracts. The focus is on ensuring that all contracts are not only commercially viable but also compliant with relevant regulatory frameworks.

Legal Translation and Stakeholder Alignment

As a bridge between business teams and legal counsels of various stakeholders, you will be responsible for clarifying priorities and guiding negotiations. Your ability to reduce friction between parties will be vital to accelerating deal velocity and increasing operational efficiency.

Process Optimization and Playbook Creation

The role involves designing streamlined contracting systems, which includes creating templates and workflows. These resources will help empower growth teams and reduce the need for external counsel, ultimately streamlining the operational process and minimizing rework.

Strategic Growth and Market Expansion

Supporting the company’s expansion into new markets is another critical responsibility. Your expertise will help the firm navigate regulatory pathways and structure new business models, aligning diverse stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and meet business objectives.

Smart Contract Exploration and Product Collaboration

You may also engage in designing blockchain-enabled contracting and settlement tools, working alongside the product team to translate legal structures into programmable code for innovative software offerings.
