Wing is on the lookout for a Compensation Manager to join its People team, with the flexibility to work remotely from within the United States. This role is crucial to developing and sustaining comprehensive compensation programs that not only meet legal compliances but also align strategically with the company’s objectives for talent acquisition and retention in a fast-evolving workplace landscape.
As a Compensation Manager at Wing, your tasks will include:
Designing, implementing, and overseeing Wing's global compensation and equity programs, naturally including base pay structures and incentive plans that align with the company’s culture and purpose.
Conducting in-depth market analyses and benchmarking to guarantee that Wing’s compensation packages remain attractive within the technology, aviation, and delivery sectors.
Managing all dimensions of equity administration, which encompasses processing various employee transactions and securing data integrity and compliance.
Preparing reports and presentations relating to compensation metrics for various stakeholders, including the People Team, Finance, and company leadership.
Collaborating with Finance, Legal, and Payroll teams to execute employee liquidity events while ensuring compliance and preparing tax-related documents.
Partnering with HR Business Partners and leadership to navigate complex compensation problems and maintain regulatory compliance.
Developing and delivering communication and training materials to educate employees and managers on the available compensation and equity programs.
Candidates interested in applying for this position should possess:
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, particularly in Compensation and Stock Administration.
A proven background in designing and administering compensation and equity programs.
An in-depth understanding of compensation principles, practices, and regulations governing the field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills capable of interpreting and presenting complex data effectively.
Expert proficiency in software tools, particularly Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building effective relationships across all organizational levels.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally, managing multiple priorities, and adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferably familiarity with SQL or Google Cloud SQL for data querying and analysis purposes.
Experience using Workday and Shareworks would be an advantage.
The base salary range for this full-time position at Wing falls between $110,000 and $217,000 USD, in addition to potential bonuses, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by a combination of job role, level, and geographical location.
