Kin is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Content Editor to lead the entire content production cycle for its website, Kin.com. The successful candidate will oversee the creation, editing, and publication of high-quality home insurance content. Reporting directly to the Senior Content Manager, the Content Editor will work closely with the Senior SEO Manager, the marketing team, and freelance writers to deliver content that is both engaging and methodologically sound.
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of the Content Editor include:
Managing the complete editorial process for all published content on Kin.com.
Developing content outlines and briefs informed by keyword research, SEO, and audience needs.
Editing and revising content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with established tone and best practices for SEO.
Writing monthly data studies for media coverage based on national surveys.
Maintaining the editorial calendar to ensure that publications align with business priorities.
Overseeing the publishing process through Kin’s CMS, which includes formatting, uploading, and final quality assurance before publication.

Required Skills and Experience
