Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Content Editor include:

• Transforming complex financial topics into user-friendly content.
• Reviewing and editing educational material to ensure it aligns with the LearnLux Style Guide, focusing on tone, grammar, and style.
• Ensuring all written content is devoid of grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
• Supporting the localization process by adapting global content to meet local preferences, while considering cultural factors, vocabulary, and grammatical nuances.
• Conducting thorough fact-checking of materials to identify and correct any perplexing information.

Required Skills

Candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience as an editor or in a similar capacity.
• Proficiency in using Google Docs for editing.
• Strong writing skills and a high command of the English language.
• Attention to detail to identify errors and inconsistencies effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and the acumen to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Availability to work at least 15 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are considered beneficial:

• Knowledge of a second language, particularly Spanish or French.
• Previous experience within the financial industry.
• Familiarity with localization practices or adapting content for various locales.
