This key role involves executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy, driving audience engagement across various channels, and contributing significantly to LeadIQ’s demand generation endeavors.

Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, the Content Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with multiple departments, including sales, business development, and product marketing. This collaboration ensures that all content is in alignment with the company's broader business goals and effectively connects with the target audience.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a detailed content strategy aimed at supporting LeadIQ’s demand generation objectives while enhancing brand awareness. The role requires active collaboration with sales, business development, and product marketing to keep the content aligned with the latest product updates, market trends, and sales objectives.

Content Creation

The Content Marketing Manager will take charge of producing high-quality content in various formats, such as blog posts, webinars, newsletters, and social media. Once the content strategy is fully operational, the manager will oversee the production of two blog posts per week, with support from contractors. Writing and editing content that is both informative and engaging is crucial, ensuring it strikes a chord with the target audience.

Webinars

Another critical responsibility involves planning and executing webinars. This includes sourcing and coordinating with guest speakers and managing the back-end execution of these events. The manager is expected to hit the target number of registrants per webinar through strategic promotion and outreach. Additionally, the content marketing manager will provide webinar recaps and create supporting content, including blog posts and social media clips. Possessing video editing skills for crafting engaging webinar clips would be considered a valuable asset.



Social Media Management

In terms of social media management, driving growth in social media presence by creating, reviewing, and scheduling posts that engage the B2B sales community is a core task. The manager will liaise with contractors to ensure timely content delivery, including clips from webinars and other key updates. Monitoring and reporting on social media metrics are necessary to measure success and guide strategy adjustments.

Performance Measurement

The role demands reporting on the effectiveness of various content marketing activities. This includes measuring social media growth, webinar engagement, and pipeline generation. Proficiency in utilizing tools such as Google Analytics and social media metrics is required to track and optimize content performance.

Collaboration

The Content Marketing Manager will partner with the product marketing team to ensure content supports product launches, updates, and other significant communications. Working closely with sales and business development teams, the manager will create content that aligns with sales objectives and aids in advancing prospects through the sales pipeline.

Desired Skills and Experience

A candidate with 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, particularly within a startup environment, would be ideal. Familiarity with modern Marketing Automation Platforms like Pardot, HubSpot, and Marketo, as well as experience with contemporary CMS platforms such as WordPress and Webflow, is helpful. Strong writing and editing skills are essential. The chosen candidate should demonstrate the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling content while managing multiple projects and priorities.
