A Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Development, Environmental Science, Ecology, Geography, Environmental Engineering, Community Development, or related fields. A Master's degree in Sustainability, Rural Development, or Socio-Environmental Studies is preferred.
Proven experience in civil society organizations, cooperation, or socio-environmental projects with direct field work experience is essential.
A regenerative and environmental justice approach (as opposed to a conservationist stance) with an understanding of the interdependence between territory, community, and local economies.
Willingness to travel frequently for site visits and engagement with community stakeholders.
The successful candidate will exhibit the following competencies:
Intercultural sensitivity and a human rights perspective in their approach to work.
Ability to translate socio-environmental diagnoses into viable and culturally relevant proposals.

A salary of up to $30,000 MXN net per month, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
