In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Owning system architecture for Force Guided Relays and General-Purpose Relays utilized in various industrial applications.
Engaging with global customers to gather insights into system performance, needs, and expectations regarding technology.
Combining applications and technology expertise to identify system architecture requirements essential for product development.
Making sure that the technology and product roadmaps are in line with customer expectations and industry trends for the future.
Performing thorough analyses to identify product and technology gaps, providing recommendations on optimal solutions.
Participating in standardization activities to help shape industry trends congruent with TE’s strategies.
Developing application whitepapers to enhance understanding among internal teams and customers.
Providing technical insights and reviewing competitive benchmarks to assess new product concepts.
To thrive in this position, the following qualifications and skills are essential:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (or a closely related field) accompanied by at least 10 years of relevant experience. An MBA or dual business degree would be a significant asset.
At least 5 years of experience in system design within either the product line or component supplier industry.
Proven understanding of system design for Force-Guided and General-Purpose Relays and familiarity with multiple engineering disciplines.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards, including IEC 61810-1, IEC 61810-3, and others related to safety and product integrity.
Expertise in Functional Safety and Safety Integrity, including familiarity with ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061.
A strong network within the industry, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams, including CTO, Product Management, Business Development, and Sales.
Fluent communication skills in both German and English are required, with additional language skills considered advantageous.
Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to a diverse audience.
Capacity to cultivate strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders at various levels.
TE Connectivity provides a comprehensive compensation package for the Customer Solution Architect position. The minimum salary is legally mandated to be €3,930.00 gross per month for full-time roles, paid 14 times a year. Notably, the company is open to salary negotiations based on individual qualifications and experience, meaning that candidates with exceptional backgrounds may receive higher compensation.
