The responsibilities of the Senior Analyst include:
Advanced Analytics & Reporting (50%)
Project Leadership: The analyst will lead analytics projects, translating high-level business requirements into functional specifications. They are responsible for managing timelines from the initiation of projects through to delivery.
Complex Analysis: They must execute high-accuracy analyses to identify trends and opportunities within clinical and operational data. Creating analytic hypotheses and tailored methodologies will be vital in addressing proactive business questions.
Data Integrity: A critical aspect of the role involves being a reliable resource for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA). The analyst will validate data work to ensure that reporting accuracy aligns with stakeholder expectations.
Visualization: The analyst will design and develop advanced dashboards using tools such as Tableau to clearly communicate insights to clinical and operational leaders.
Strategic Support & Communication (30%)
Stakeholder Partnership: Building relationships with clinical, operational, and payor partners to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations is essential.
Process Improvement: Identifying challenges in existing data or reporting systems and proposing scalable solutions is a part of the analyst's strategic contributions. They will also recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and overall usability of reports.
Insight Synthesis: Translating complex data into coherent narratives for senior leadership is vital, with an emphasis on leveraging PowerPoint to summarize performance and progress metrics.
Mentorship & Team Development (10%)
Mentorship: Providing guidance and technical support to junior analysts is a key aspect of the job, thus enhancing the overall skill level within the team.
Knowledge Sharing: The analyst will aim to create a comprehensive knowledge base by documenting processes and methodologies, ensuring that best practices in coding and data analytics are standardized.

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence.
Established experience in leading analytics projects or components of larger initiatives.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries and stored procedures and good proficiency in Tableau for designing dashboards, as well as advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is considered a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of NCQA, HEDIS, and Stars reporting can give candidates a distinct advantage in securing this position.
Demonstrated abilities in critical thinking and understanding of business operations related to DaVita’s objectives will be favorable.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is between $76,000 and $104,000 per year. Compensation will depend on factors such as qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. DaVita also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.
