Responsibilities
As a DSA, you will:
Collaborate with the sales and field engineering teams to boost the adoption of Databricks.
Increase customer success by focusing on technical accountability for complex customers.
Assist customers in deploying and migrating workloads within Databricks Lakehouse.
Act as a technical lead post-sale, impacting all levels of organizations.
Report directly to a DSA manager in the Field Engineering organization for Northern EMEA.

Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead accountable for specific use cases and customers, ensuring successful onboarding and healthy consumption of workloads.
Customer Strategy: Develop plans for customer-facing technical roles and coordinate actions across teams, ensuring clear communication of project statuses, risks, and blockers.
Collaboration: Work alongside User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, and Support teams to address any technical challenges. Engage with Databricks Product and Engineering teams for product innovations and updates.
Community Contribution: Share best practices and insights within the DSA community to enhance overall effectiveness and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following skill set:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical program delivery involving Data and AI.
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or Scala.
Experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in pre-sales or consulting with distributed data systems.
Ability to quantify business value from project deliverables.
Proven experience in technical program management, including handling stakeholders and resources.
Skills in conducting discovery workshops and creating strategy roadmaps.
A record of exceeding quotas or goals in previous roles, highlighting a results-driven approach.
