## Position Requirements This position is contingent upon having an active Secret clearance which is a prerequisite for working in this sensitive area.

## Responsibilities As a DevOps Engineer, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing your programming skills to design and develop software solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Engaging with clients to establish their software requirements and subsequently coding and testing the software to meet these needs while ensuring all functionalities operate as intended.
  • Working within Agile frameworks and practicing paired programming to deliver high-quality results.
  • Transforming user stories and development tasks into effective software components.

In addition to these, you will also be expected to:

  • Assist in the creation of epics and features aligned with customer specifications.
  • Integrate software applications and third-party software, while also verifying and deploying these programs and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and perform upgrades on existing software, gathering and implementing user feedback into iterative software improvements.
  • Document technical processes for future reference and reporting, collaborating with different application and platform teams to ensure software is built and deployed securely.

## Required Qualifications A prospective candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher in either Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Specific qualifications will include:

  • Demonstrated experience in roles such as Software Developer or Software Engineer.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience in software design as well as test-driven development.
  • Proven expertise in Cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining APIs across various platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, SQL, and TypeScript.

In addition to the above, applicants should have experience utilizing GitLab for version control and working with tools like Grafana, SonarQube, and Splunk. Also, proficiency with CI/CD pipelines is critical for this role.

If you hold a Master's Degree in a relevant field, that would be an added advantage. Experience with Army technology, specifically Command and Control systems, would also bolster your application. Familiarity with federal IT standards and policies, including FISMA, NIST, and the RMF process, is preferred.

## Salary Expectation The target salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $160,000. This range is typical for the industry but individual salaries will vary based on factors like location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and the qualifications of the candidate.
