Job Title and Role Description

The position being offered is that of Deputy Director of Corporate Communication (H/F). This full-time role is open to candidates interested in teleworking. However, there's an expectation for at least five days per month to be spent at the Bordeaux office, with both transportation and accommodation costs covered by the company.

In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Corporate Communication to define and implement the communication strategy of Betclic. The primary focus will be on enhancing the company's image and reputation both nationally and internationally by creating engaging content that resonates with stakeholders and audiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the formulation of the corporate communication strategy, collaborating with senior leadership, including the CEO.
  • Implementing communication plans that effectively promote Betclic’s image among various stakeholders (clients, employees, regulators, and media).
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and opinion leaders to enhance Betclic's visibility.
  • Participating in and preparing for interviews and press events, coordinating press releases and media kits under the guidance of the communications strategy.
  • Formulating crisis communication protocols to mitigate potential reputational risks associated with the online gaming industry.
  • Collaborating with the Culture Department to ensure alignment between internal and corporate messages, strengthening the company's cultural values.
  • Adapting the communication strategy for an international reach, considering local cultural and regulatory specifics.
  • Conducting strategic monitoring of trends and changes in corporate communication within the gaming sector, ensuring that Betclic remains at the forefront of developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates are expected to possess the following:

  • A degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in similar roles related to corporate communication, ideally with experience within a high-growth technology environment or a regulated industry.
  • Deep knowledge and passion for sports is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in various communication strategies, including corporate, crisis, and internal communication.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in both French and English.
  • Proven experience in managing press relations and reputation management.
  • A strategic mindset coupled with a holistic vision of communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build robust relationships across various departments.
  • Ability to anticipate issues and adopt a proactive approach.

Recruitment Process
