The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with building scalable batch and real-time data pipelines. Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Prefect, Airflow, or Dagster is required.
Knowledge of Streaming Technologies: Strong expertise in streaming technologies like Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or GCP Pub/Sub.
Data Lake Architecture Proficiency: Knowledge in using tools such as S3, Glue, and Delta Lake.
Database Optimization Skills: Proficiency in Redshift and Postgres for database performance analysis.
Infrastructure Skills: Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CDK or Terraform.
Programming Skills: Strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership abilities, communication skills, and mentoring experience to motivate teams.
Decision-making Ability: Capacity to make informed decisions even in ambiguous situations.
