Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

The Environmental Strategy Expert will undertake several responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Providing specialist direction and advice to assigned EHS teams to meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting risk management strategies by defining environmental assurance regimes and implementing effective audit practices to ensure compliance.

Required Skills and Experience

• Relevant experience in an Environmental & Sustainability role, particularly in industries like Rail, Telecom, Utilities, or Construction.
• At least a PIEMA qualification and ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor certification, demonstrating a solid foundation in environmental management standards.
• Proven experience providing technical advice and successfully delivering reductions in environmental impact throughout the equipment and infrastructure lifecycle.
• Experience managing and driving complex technical projects and change processes.
• A full driving license and flexibility to travel across the UK.
