Job Role and Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Engineer within the Kubernetes House, your primary responsibility will involve building and evolving the infrastructure and services that support DoiT’s PerfectScale for Compute. You will engage in various tasks essential for maintaining and improving cloud applications, including:

• Collaborating with product, backend, and frontend engineers to design and deliver solutions addressing complex problems.

• Implementing features from inception through to implementation, ensuring the projects are well thought out and maintainable.

• Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best engineering practices and engaging in thorough code reviews.

• Proactively managing the codebase health to address technical debt.

• Participating in team planning and contributing insights during design discussions to identify potential challenges early on.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, ideally in a full stack capacity. Expertise in Go lang, React, and Node.js/TypeScript is highly sought after.

• A strong grasp of microservices architecture, API design, and familiarity with cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Knowledge of cloud cost management and billing models such as Savings Plans and Reserved Instances.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.

Bonus skills that are advantageous but not essential include:

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.

• Proficiency in databases, both relational and non-relational (for example, BigQuery, ClickHouse, and Firestore).
