Role Overview: Growth Marketing Engineer

The position being offered is for a Growth Marketing Engineer. This role is a unique hybrid of marketer, data engineer, and growth hacker. The key responsibilities include building, maintaining, and scaling the technical foundation for user acquisition and performance marketing. The Growth Marketing Engineer will ensure accurate tracking across web, app, and marketing measurement platforms (MMP), enabling smarter campaign decisions and measurable growth through precision, automation, and experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

Attribution & Tracking Infrastructure

  • Own end-to-end setup and maintenance of marketing measurement platforms like AppsFlyer, Adjust, and Firebase.
  • Ensure accurate attribution of user activity across various channels, including Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok.
  • Design and manage complex deep linking structures and implement privacy-compliant tracking measures.

Data Quality & Growth Analytics

  • Standardize event taxonomies and support BigQuery data pipelines.
  • Create and maintain growth dashboards using tools such as Google Analytics 4, Looker, PowerBI, and Tableau.
  • Monitor tracking issues, discrepancies, and data quality.
  • Conduct cohort and LTV analysis, as well as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) diagnostics.

Growth Experimentation & Automation

  • Support campaign testing and automation using APIs.
  • Run A/B tests to optimize creative strategies across different audiences and channels.
  • Automate budget pacing and performance alerts for various campaigns.

Tooling & Integrations

  • Manage the MarTech stack, including MMPs, SDKs, and CRM tools.
  • Oversee Conversion API integrations and ensure quality assurance for tracking during app releases.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Maintain attribution variance under 5%.
  • Achieve 99%+ event tracking reliability.
  • Improve Cost Per Install (CPI) and Conversion Rate (CVR) metrics.
  • Provide real-time reporting on all campaign activities.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate for the Growth Marketing Engineer position should possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in growth marketing, analytics, or MarTech engineering.
  • Familiarity with various marketing measurement tools including Adjust, AppsFlyer, and GA4.
  • Strong understanding of attribution models, SKAdNetwork, and user event flows.
  • Knowledge in SQL or BigQuery is essential, and familiarity with Python or JavaScript for automation is considered a bonus.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills are crucial to thrive in this role.
