Responsibilities

As a Hardware QA Engineer, the candidate will have several key responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Supporting hardware validation, firmware regression, and systems testing by installing and configuring both hardware and software.

  • Conducting functional and non-functional testing to ensure products meet specified standards.

  • Developing and supporting automated testing processes as well as creating testing jigs, fixtures, and interfaces. This contributes to improved efficiency and throughput in the hardware testing procedures.

  • Contributing to the drafting, reviewing, and submission of testing reports and other deliverables within the Quality Assurance team for PACS Core products.

  • Understanding and executing a variety of test plans and effectively conducting manual or automated tests.

  • Identifying defects accurately and communicating them using appropriate tools.

  • Publishing comprehensive test reports based on the conducted tests.

  • Utilizing a variety of tools and techniques for test automation and enhancing existing automated test solutions with new test cases.

Required Skills

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following skills:

  • A solid foundational understanding of core engineering principles.

  • Willingness to grow within the engineering scope and actively learn current tools and processes used by the team.



  • Ability to manage well-defined, tactical sub-tasks effectively within a larger project framework.

  • Keen interest in mastering specific components or product areas.

Technical Skills Required:

  • An Engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1+ years related experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with operating systems like Windows and Linux.

  • Experience with testing tools such as National Instruments TestStand, LabVIEW, and Gurock TestRail.

  • Ability to modify test application software in C# using Microsoft Visual Studio and the .NET framework.

  • Working with various interfacing technologies (DLLs, GPIB, Ethernet, CAN, USB, serial).

  • Experience with Arduino programming and managing Issue Tracking Applications (JIRA) and documentation platforms (Confluence).
