As an HR Admin Specialist, you will be responsible for various core HR functions, including but not limited to:
Owning the monthly pre-payroll cycle by collecting and validating hires, transfers, terminations, base pay, allowances, variable pay, timesheets, overtime, and leave data.
Maintaining accurate records in the HRIS and preparing the pre-payroll package for the Finance department, alongside reconciling variances before cut-off.
Administering all types of leave, including annual, sick, and parental (maternity/paternity) leave, while tracking accruals, balances, and necessary documentation.
Preparing preliminary bonus and commission calculations in line with established plans and individual agreements, including prorations if applicable.
Managing documentation related to drafting, maintaining service agreements, with a focus on preparing documentation for renewals, terminations, and monitoring relevant deadlines and statuses.
Reviewing and approving employment and service contracts for compliance with local labor laws, focusing on regions like Singapore and Hong Kong.
Collaborating with an EoR/payroll platform such as Remote, particularly with regard to data uploads, payslip checks, and issue resolution as they arise.
Partnering closely with Finance for proper alignment on calendars, handovers, and statutory submissions.
To be considered for the HR Admin Specialist role, candidates must meet several key requirements:
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in HR Operations or Payroll Operations, preferably in an international setting.
Practical, hands-on experience with pre-payroll processes and a strong competence in managing and navigating HRIS data.
Solid spreadsheet skills that facilitate effective data management.
A working knowledge of Cyprus labor law regarding time/leave and payroll inputs/documentation is essential. Familiarity with UK payroll and hiring practices (including role classification/occupation codes) is a desirable addition.
Experience in collaborating with EoR/payroll providers (ideally Remote) and immigration vendors is a plus.
An understanding of the GDPR and the secure handling of personal data pertaining to employees is critical.
A strong command of English is required, with Upper-Intermediate fluency; knowledge of additional languages could be a plus.
