Overview

MeridianLink is seeking an HR Generalist I to join its team in the USA. Responsibilities

The HR Generalist I is tasked with several key responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Human Resources Business Partner team with daily HR activities such as policy implementation, performance management, and organizational development.

  • Addressing employee concerns and grievances, conducting investigations, and ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS), including monitoring new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives aimed at promoting a positive work environment and enhancing employee satisfaction. The Generalist will oversee administrative tasks for onboarding and new hire orientation and update data in the HRIS.

  • Coordinating new hire orientation training to introduce new employees to the company’s culture, policies, and procedures, which includes generating offer letters, conducting background checks, and verifying employee eligibility.

  • Aiding in the coordination and delivery of training programs for both employees and managers.

  • Handling employment-related inquiries from employees, maintaining up-to-date communication on sensitive matters with appropriate staff members.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.
