The PHP Engineer will work closely with the MailerLite team to implement new features and maintain the company’s flagship product, contributing to a platform that sends millions of emails daily.

Responsibilities

The PHP Engineer will undertake essential tasks, including but not limited to:

• Implementing new features focused on user impact and value
• Maintaining the existing codebase, which serves hundreds of thousands of users each day

Required Skills

To be eligible for the PHP Engineer role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with PHP, JavaScript, and HTML
• Familiarity with at least one of the following frameworks: ReactJS or VueJS
• Working knowledge of Laravel
• Proficient in using code versioning tools like Git
• Strong ability to write and optimize complex MySQL queries
• Knowledge of Redis and queues
• Demonstrated ability to write clean code with test coverage
• Ability to build scalable applications
• Passion for navigating complex, advanced codebases
• Self-motivated with an investigative mindset for creative problem-solving
• Proficient communication skills in English (both verbal and written)

Salary

MailerLite offers a competitive yearly gross salary range of $50,000-$80,000.
