Job Role
The position available is Manager of Credentialing and Payor Operations. This role is critical as it facilitates the scaling of Sprinter Health's operations through well-crafted credentialing and payor enrollment strategies. The selected candidate will directly report to the General Counsel of the company and will have the flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Manager, Credentialing & Payor Operations include:
Building a new credentialing program that complies with NCQA requirements, ensuring that Sprinter Health meets industry standards.
Owning and managing licensing, credentialing, and payor enrollment operations to enhance efficiency, compliance, timeliness, and scalability.
Leading process improvements across credentialing workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Clinical Operations, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Product, and Compliance.
Serving as the key contact for payor enrollment-related issues, providing solutions and strategies for resolution.
Overseeing the Advanced Practice Provider collaboration program, utilizing in-house and third-party technology resources to coordinate efforts.
Supporting cross-functional initiatives that relate to provider onboarding and market expansion, always maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Identifying automation and tooling opportunities to bolster operational efficiency within credentialing and payor enrollment processes.
Required Skills
Candidates interested in applying for the Manager position should possess the following qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare operations, credentialing, or payor enrollment.
Demonstrated expertise in building credentialing programs that adhere to payor's delegated credentialing standards, which is highly preferred.
Proven leadership experience or ownership of processes in credentialing or enrollment.
Background in large hospitals, health systems, tech-enabled healthcare companies, or digital health organizations is a plus.
Strong operational expertise characterized by a history of optimizing workflows and implementing scalable solutions.
Comprehensive familiarity with payor enrollment processes, credentialing, and compliance regulations.
Experience in managing cross-functional projects and collaborating across departments.
A tech-savvy mindset along with relevant experience in leveraging technology for process improvements.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure effective collaboration and project management.
