Responsibilities

Digital Strategy Development

  • Developing and activating comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with CrossFit’s business objectives.

  • Understanding consumer behaviors and the CrossFit brand to ensure an optimal digital experience.

Campaign Planning and Execution

  • Planning and implementing digital campaigns across multiple channels: website, email, SMS, SEO, social media, paid media, and the CrossFit app.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to guarantee seamless campaign executions.

Content Strategy and Creation

  • Crafting and overseeing the content strategy for digital channels, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and campaign goals.
  • Partnering with content creators to produce engaging digital content that resonates with the audience.

Website Operations & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Working hand-in-hand with the Director of Growth Marketing to enhance website content and structure for SEO.
  • Utilizing the content management system (CMS) for routine content updates and building new landing pages.
  • Employing data analytics to derive insights about the customer journey to inform site updates and optimizations.

Paid Media

  • Collaborating with the Director of Growth Marketing to maximize ROI on paid marketing campaigns.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

  • Working closely with various internal teams such as sales, product, social media, and customer service to coordinate digital marketing efforts in alignment with broader business goals.
  • Promoting strong cross-functional cooperation for effective campaign execution.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:



  • Proficient in multiple email marketing platforms (e.g., Braze, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to foster a positive work culture and effective communication within teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of email marketing principles, automation techniques, segmentation, and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent copywriting capabilities, capable of crafting persuasive email content.
  • Analytical mindset with a knack for interpreting data and generating actionable insights.
  • Awareness of compliance regulations and best practices regarding email marketing.
  • Flexibility and discipline suited for a high-performing distributed team.

Educational Background

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Previous professional experience (3+ years) in email marketing, ideally within the health and fitness sector.
