Position and Role Responsibilities

This job listing is for the position of Manager of Enterprise Sales Development - West & Central. As a manager, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs). Key responsibilities include:

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants are expected to have the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in leading a team of BDRs, ideally in software-related fields like Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure.
  • A solid understanding of funnel management across various channels – inbound, outbound, upsell, and new business.
  • Hands-on experience with onboarding and developing team members.
  • Proficiency with sales and marketing tools such as CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation software.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to recruit, hire, and train salespeople effectively.
  • Experience dealing with Enterprise accounts in the B2B software and Open Source software ecosystems is highly desirable.
  • Candidates should preferably be located in the West or Central region of the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

Chainguard offers a competitive compensation range between $175,000 to $200,000 On Target Earnings (OTE), depending on the applicant's experience and location. Besides the salary, employees are entitled to several benefits, including:
